The Nested Cross
The cross carries two abbreviations. IC XC stands for ΙΗΣΟΥΣ ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ — Jesus Christ — written with the first and last letter of each name. NIKA means conquers.
Together they read Jesus Christ conquers: an inscription carried on Byzantine crosses and coins for more than a thousand years. It is on the back of every piece in the Nested Cross range.
